We’ve always tried to keep Caltweet very simple and easy to use. Because of this, we have kept the homepage very simplistic. However, Caltweet as grown a lot since it was created and it is now so full of features that we need to add a little complexity to the homepage that way users can get the full Caltweet experience. Here are some things we have added to the home page.
In our last article, I told you about how we changed the sorting mechanism to sort by popularity. That is a very useful feature and most users want to know what are the hottest events going on. So we have given you what you want and put this on the hope page as the ‘Hottest Upcoming Events.’
Also, we want you to stay informed about what is going on with caltweet, so we have added the blog feed to the homepage. Along with this we have added the US states, so you can find the hottest events in your area straight from the homepage.
So leave us some feed back. What do you think about the new redesign? The colors? The content? Feel free to let us know so we can make Caltweet the best it can be… for you!
